United Launch Alliance is set to launch the WGS-10 high capacity communications satellite for the United States Department of Defense. The satellite is the tenth satellite of Wideband Global SATCOM system and the third of the WSG Block II Follow-On satellites.

The WGS-10 communications satellite will be launched aboard a Delta IV Medium+ (5,4) rocket from Cape Canaveral’s Space Launch Complex 37 at 22:56 UTC (18:56 EST). The launch will be the eighth of the M+ (5,4) Delta IV variant. This variant of the rocket features a five-meter (16.4-foot) fairing, one common booster core (CBC), and four solid-fuel strapon boosters (SRBs).
