Vans Release NASA-Themed Sneakers

Vans release NASA-inspired "Space Voyager" Sneaker Collection.

In commemoration of the agency’s 60th anniversary, Vans has released a NASA-themed sneaker collection.

The Vans Space Voyager Collection is inspired by the features, textures and colours that adorned the various EVA and flight suits over NASA’s 60 years of crewed spaceflight. The range of sneakers includes four variants for adults and two for kids. Along with the range of sneakers, the US apparel company also released a selection of appeal and bags.

Vans isn’t the first apparel company to draw inspiration from NASA. Earlier this year, San Francisco based fashion designer Heron Preston released his “NASA Capsule” street fashion range. The range included t-shirts, jackets and a bad inspired by the packs the Apollo astronauts wore on the surface of the moon.
